Leggings on men. Y or N?

There is a lot of fuss being made about Men's Leggings, or 'Meggings', lately. Bye the way, I hate the terms, 'meggings', 'Guy liner', 'manscara' or 'meels'. Leggings go on ones legs, not ones 'Megs. 'Eyeliner' goes on the eyes and not the 'Guy's'. (OK, that one is open to debate)! Mascara, well, that one's obvious! A shoe with a 'heel' is still just that, when it's on the foot of a woman or a man. Feet are feet, heels are heels. We all have them. Don't we?

I think this must be a way of making these familiarly female items 'manly', to market them to the male market. Thought up by and I'm guessing here, women. There is no need to change the name of these items for our sake people. I occasionally wear 'eyeliner'. I have been know to wear heels. But when I read the other day about 'meggings', I was wondering what all the fuss was about. It threw me, until half way through the article, when I realised that 'meggings' were in fact, 'leggings'. The penny dropped. When men eventually sprout Megs as lower limbs, instead of our usual appendages, I will accept the name change. But only then!

Anyway, why all the fuss. Not everyone looks good in Leggings and quite frankly, some people should avoid them all together, (you know who you are). Sportsmen have been wearing them for years without any fuss. But as soon as they look like they're becoming mainstream as a fashion for men. All hell breaks loose. Why? 'cos they look silly on bandy legged, skinny men. Or because they can actually look good.???

I am not sure if I like them, although I do own a couple of pairs. Plain black, down to the shin.I'm not even sure if skinny jeans are for me. I have the legs for it, but I like my legs to feel unrestricted, cool and free. This is why I wear skirts. I have even tried them with skirts, but it somehow defeats the object of skirt comfort for me. I feel the same restrictions in leggings, but I usually have them on in the winter, when I go skiing. Layers keep ya warmer, don't ya know!

Some guys look good in skinny jeans and leggings. A lot don't. Same goes for the ladies. Same goes for skirts. The world doesn't need to panic just yet. There will always be men who refuse to go along with these constantly changing and reinventions of fashion, 'from days of old, when men were bold' etc. It's freedom to choose. Fashion freedom. Basic human rights.Right on!

Men/women in leggings, Y or N? That's up to the individual, right!
